The illustrated talk by Dr Warren Kovach begins at 2.00 p.m., refreshments available from 1.45 p.m. This lecture is one of the Civic Society’s contributions to the celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the opening of the Suspension Bridge. This iconic, Grade I listed structure was designed by Telford to connect the Isle of Anglesey to the mainland, serving as a critical transport link on the road from London to Holyhead.
