Due to the exceptional circumstances of the Queen’s death coming so close to our proposed celebrations of our 50th Anniversary, it has been decided that the Garden Party will not go ahead on Saturday, 10th September.   It is too close and would be inappropriate. 

We will mark  the Civic Society’s 50th Anniversary later in the year at a more fitting time.

If people have bought tickets for the Party the money will be refunded or may be used for a future celebration. Details will be issued in due course.

A notice will be placed at the entrance to Plas Cadnant explaining the circumstances and a member of the Society will also be present to explain the cancellation.

If you know of people who were going to attend would you please let them know of the cancellation.
